Our farm is BVD tested and BVD free.

A loafing shed is a great addition to any paddock providing shelter from sun and storms without having to move the animals to the barn.

After a long day of grazing, they rest under roof of their large pavilion.

Maintenance, such as healthcare and shearing is performed inside the barn. Rubber mats in the stalls make for a clean work area, especially for shearing. |

Our farm, continued. |
| We have dedicated 8 acres of pasture to our alpaca breeding program. Our alpacas leisurely graze in our fields of orchard grass and run and play in their large paddocks. |
|
We protect our herd from predators with a parameter barrier of 5’ no climb 2x4 woven high tensile fencing. Interior paddocks are divided by 4’ 2x4 no climb fencing. The main purpose of fence such as this is to PROTECT the alpacas from dogs and other predators. Alpacas have no defense mechanisms to ward off predators, they rely on us to protect them.
|
As well, we added two llamas to the herd. Llamas will at least kick and charge a predator to protect the alpacas. We have found llamas to be a joy as well. There are a lot of myths out there about llamas. Personally, I have not been spit upon yet.

Our farm is open to visitors. We ask that you call ahead to schedule an appointment to visit our herd. Our alpacas love to meet new people. They are very curious creatures and look forward to visitors. Whether you are interested in purchasing alpacas or are still researching the possibility, come visit our farm. We would like to offer to help educate you. We will fulfill your alpaca needs in any way we can. We look for opportunities to educate the public about the wonders of alpacas.
